A gossip goes around telling secrets, but those who are trustworthy can keep a confidence.
A troublemaker plants seeds of strife; gossip separates the best of friends.
Wrongdoers eagerly listen to gossip; liars pay close attention to slander.
A gossip goes around telling secrets, so don’t hang around with chatterers.
Others may accuse you of gossip, and you will never regain your good reputation.
Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops.
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
For I am afraid that when I come I won’t like what I find, and you won’t like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior.
Totally awesome! Shows us who we are as humans & who we can be if we let Christ be the center of our beings. Thanks Ann

Good insight Ann! Interesting topic and so relatable. I have been thinking a lot about this as I have watched the social club process on campus.

I’m sure you do. But I love knowing they have a beautiful inside-and-out role model you are for all ages. Thank you for reading and responding.

I loved the email responses I received and wanted to share a few: One person shared about how when he moved to the country, he had to learn the farmer’s wave. That wave has also been a universal form of communication when he traveled abroad and didn’t know that language’s greeting. Simply waving connected him with others. Another said, “My golf game stinks so I hope my faith walk is not like that. Lol.” Still another, a most beautiful soul identified with being invisible, how others can treat a person that way is beyond me. We really do need to pay attention to how we see and don’t see others. One friend shared about a recent incident when in a shopping center, a woman blamed her for parking too close to her car, when the rager was clearly the one in the wrong. My friend chose to respond kindly, respectfully, in spite of the other’s accusation. She surely set an example for those watching, proving an angry response isn’t always worth the getting riled.
